April 02, 2026 2 min read

Making its San Francisco Art Fair debut this April, The Copper Wolf presents Metamorphōsis, an exhibition of symbolic works rooted in classical mythology and reimagined through contemporary painting.

Through visual allegory and layered narrative, featured artists Danny Gordo and Aimee Schreiber reframe ancient iconography to explore themes of transformation, impermanence, and personal mythology.

Based in Tumwater, WA, The Copper Wolf (Booth F20) is a hybrid art gallery and tattoo studio known for its curated exhibitions and distinct approach to contemporary symbolism.

Aimee Schreiber is an artist, poet, and The Copper Wolf gallery director in Tumwater, Washington who creates art to understand and connect to life inside and around her. Drawing inspiration from the lands, creatures, and cultures of the world, she enjoys elevating subjects that are small and often overlooked with spiritual imagery like gold halos in hopes of creating visual portals into the unseen wonders that surround us. Insects in particular have always fascinated her with their otherworldly colors, intricate forms, and evocative symbolism.

Aimee will exhibit a series of moth paintings from her Emanations Collection. Follow her current work at @aimeeschreiber, view her portfolio and subscribe to her newsletter at aimeeschreiber.com, and contact her at aimee@thecopperwolf.com.
