

One night, I was sitting there with a brand new set of alcohol ink markers and a very nice line drawing and I decided to to do a blue and rose mood study. This is a portrayal of my father, inspired by Picasso’s “The Guitarist.”
I love a song called “The Bird Song” and while listening to it I was inspired by the lyrics and decided to make a piece based off of it. I used a pencil, a giant sketch pad, and a crappy set of watercolors in the creation of what I call “The Raven’s Ballad.”
Oliver Kemp is a homeschooled 7th grader who enjoys art, music, reading, and writing. Oliver loves art and is always discovering new ways to do things. He loves drawing dead objects and is fascinated by death in nature. He lives in Olympia with his parents, siblings, and two dogs.
