Artist Statement:
My work spans oil and cold wax, acrylic, mixed media, collage, and digital formats—each medium offering a unique way to explore texture, form, and emotion. Working across mediums allows me to stay curious and responsive, letting the concept or feeling dictate the process. Whether I'm building surfaces with cold wax and oil, assembling ephemeral fragments into collage, or constructing compositions digitally, I am always searching for moments of contrast and harmony.
About the Artist:
Maryanne, a PNW native resides in the vibrant art community of Olympia, Washington. Her interest in art began as a child and continued with a focus on art throughout high school, college and beyond. As a kid, going to the Portland Art Museum was a favorite outing. She has been fortunate to work and train with numerous talented and generous artists.
