Artist Statement:
I have for several years, been developing a body of work in found object assemblage art. These pieces come to me as a response to environmental, political and social concerns. As I continue to develop technical skills, I am able to combine various found objects into a coherent sculpture.
About the Artist:
Maggie Roberts has been a potter for more than 20 years. But Intrigued by found object sculpture, started setting time aside to develop new skills. She is pleased to be sharing her new work.
*This piece is currently on display at the First Stop Art Exhibition until June 13th. Pickup and shipping of purchased artwork will be arranged by the artist at the close of the show.
