Artist Statement:
I live above the water in a forest which inspires me. Nature and light have been my focus in my oil paintings, collages and fabric wall hangings.
About the Artist:
Laraine received her BA and MA in art California State University. She taught K-12 for 21 years. She retired from River Ridge, Lacey in 2011, after 13 years. She taught drawing, painting, and ceramic. She is inspired by contemporary art and impressionists.
