About the Artist:
Karen creates images using batik, a process of applying molten wax and dye to cotton muslin. In the final step, the wax is removed revealing a translucent fabric. The stained-glass effect inspires her to illuminate them and create a glowing world of her own.
*This piece is currently on display at the First Stop Art Exhibition until June 13th. Pickup and shipping of purchased artwork will be arranged by the artist at the close of the show.
