Artist Statement:

This piece was inspired by old medieval/heraldic artwork, as well as old mythology about the sun and the moon. The personalities of the wolves are meant to represent the different parts of a person and the world, and how although they may clash, they must work together to create something beautiful. 

About the Artist:

Josafine Stauffer is an aspiring high school artist. She loves all things to do with mythology and animals. Josafine is inspired by the natural world and hopes to continue doing art for a long time.
