These cyanotype pieces were made using sunlight, plants, found text, and time. Cyanotype is a photographic process that depends on the sun. Rather than depicting the sun directly, this work honors its role as an active participant in the creative process and in the cycles of life it supports. Ferns, yarrow, evergreen branches, and other gathered materials leave their marks through exposure, creating images that are part photograph, part collaboration. The text and natural elements in these pieces come together as reflections on change, connection, and the stories we carry.
