Artist Liability Waiver

Originality:

I, the undersigned artist, certify that the art that I am submitting is my original art and that I am the author and creator of such art. I acknowledge that The Copper Wolf reserves the right to accept or deny any submission with or without cause.

Promotion:

I grant The Copper Wolf permission to publish in all media my name, artwork, and location for use in promotion through print media, and the internet. I further allow The Copper Wolf to release such information to other persons and entities. My name will be attributed to my pieces that are shown by The Copper Wolf or other persons or entities.

Responsibility:

I understand that The Copper Wolf does not assume responsibility for loss or damage to my artwork(s) or the loss or damage to frames or glass, no matter how sustained. Reasonable safety and security precautions are in place to ensure protection of my work. I also understand that The Copper Wolf recommends that I carry my own personal property insurance. I acknowledge that my artwork or other items on display may be lost, stolen, damaged, or suffer destruction during the transportation, unpacking, installation, during the exhibition, or removal and I acknowledge and understand the risk involved by allowing such property to be displayed at The Copper Wolf.

Artwork remains until the exhibition ends:

I understand that if my artwork is accepted for the show that the work may not be removed from the exhibition until the pick up date described in the Call for Art. It is my responsibility to notify The Copper Wolf in writing or by email of a third-party pick-up of artwork at the conclusion of the exhibition. Artwork accepted by the judges, if sold prior to the exhibit, must be placed in the show. Replacement pieces are not accepted.

Art Drop-Off:

The Copper Wolf requires all artists to arrange the drop-off and pick-up of their art within our scheduled time frame. We are unable to accommodate shipping or long-term storage at this time.

Waiver of Liability:

I am voluntarily participating in The Copper Wolf activities, solely of my own initiative, risk, and responsibility. I do hereby for myself, my heirs, assigns, executors, and administrators voluntarily and specifically release, waive, forever discharge, hold harmless and indemnify The Copper Wolf, its officers, agents, volunteers and employees from any and all liability for my claims or my causes of action, for my personal injury or my property damage which may result or arise out of my participation in activities. I hereby agree to indemnify and hold The Copper Wolf and their respective officers, employees, volunteers and agents, harmless from intellectual property infringement, including but not limited to copyright, patent, or trademark infringement.
