I work with an eye toward realism which can and does spills over into surrealism. My influences are Johannes Vermeer, Salvadore Dali and Edward Hopper. I have always had a love of the visual narrative—the story without words. I strive to tell stories through my paintings where even a still life has its own voice. Painting animals is where my heart lies, although a journey into portraiture and the human figure are soon to become my next adventure.
