Being in nature is my happy place and I like to capture small moments that might be overlooked. With this piece I wanted to capture a small moment of a flower I saw during sunset after a storm. The flower I based this off of is the Stinking hellebore, a flower that is completely green! I wanted it to stick out more so I chose to illustrate the petals with swirls of pink, orange, and purple, similar to clouds one might see during sunset. The small water drop at the bottom of the stem is a call to how sunlight sparkles in the drops left on plants after rainfall.
