Caroline Henry has been creating and showing art for 30 years, largely in the central region of California. She had a career as an English teacher, and began as a watercolor artist while still teaching full time. After retiring she had more time for art and was deeply involved with the Lodi Community Art Center gallery. While she enjoys working in most 2-D media, in recent years she became best known for scratchboard and for line and wash paintings. She finds inspiration in nature and in everyday experiences. Moving to Olympia in summer of 2025 brings with it many new potential art subjects.
