Artist Statement:
Whispers of the Wind Whale was inspired by my dreams. My art work materializes much like my dreams, always starts out simple and grows weirder.
About the Artist:
Skye is a mixed media artist who uses recycled materials, her favorite material being second hand comic books. Skye’s philosophy as an artist is to be conscious and mindful of our contribution to waste in the materials we use especially if we are to be inspired by Mother Nature. She also finds that she can be more creative when using unconventional materials.
