Artist Statement:
I wanted to draw on a cave, but I don’t have a cave. So I made a canvas rock and hand painted as close to I could to the shamans thousands of years ago. Every fall, during their most satiated times, shamans and apprentices would paint the caves prior to cave bear hibernation. Here I try to replicate that practice.
About the Artist:
Sean is a novice who likes doing creative things for creativity-sakes. Inspired by making art primarily for his kids, Sean dabbles in pastel works that go beyond silly creatures and punny drawings.
