About the Artist:
Lucy-Kate Culverhouse is an artist living and working in Lacey, WA. In 2007 they earned a bachelors degree in studio art at the University of California, Santa Cruz, with a focus on sculpture. They returned to art in their 30’s and today they work in various mediums including acrylic, mixed media and sculpture. Their work focuses on animals, plants, crystals and bones, and is whimsical, colorful, a little surreal, and always reverent of the natural world.
