Artist Statement:
The intent of photography has morphed so much over the years, with commerce in the forefront. My own art has been created solely for marketing purposes. I am in the process of reclaiming my creative energy and turning it inwards. "Views Along the Path Less Traveled" is a reminder that even when you're on a freeway, you can always take the time to stop and appreciate the world around you.
About the Artist:
Cruz Garcia is a Photographer and Creative Director. His main body of work is a megaphone for authenticity and human connection. Observation is everything, and understanding that everyone has a story to share is the basis of his work. When he releases the camera's shutter, it adds a chapter to his own.
