About the artist:

“The process of creating art is a part of me just as breathing is. Art is a part of who I am.”

Divina is a professional artist based in Olympia, Washington. Her passion for the arts began at a very young age. Inspired by artists such as William Alexander, Bob Ross, and Thomas Kinkade, she developed a passion for oil painting – nature and landscapes were her favorite themes. Over time, her interests grew and expanded her love of art and the creative process. Divina also enjoys practicing other art media, such as watercolor, mixed media, pastel pencil drawing, mosaic, and photography.

Divina’s wide range of skills are evident in her artworks, whether it may be abstract or the traditional styles. However, Divina’s main passion is painting. Divina is currently completing her Master’s degree in teaching. She is looking forward to teaching art to children and sharing her knowledge and skills. Divina is projected to graduate from The Evergreen State College’s Master in Teaching program in June 2020 with certifications in K-12 Visual Arts and Elementary Education.
