Between Strides came from that fascination. A horse mid-leap exists in pure suspension: neither here nor there, neither earthbound nor free. Her work is rooted in a childhood spent at the edge of Mud Bay on the lower Puget Sound, a landscape of tides, shifting light, and animals that continues to define her vision.
