Growth to death within the cycles of the sun is represented by mixed media flower forms, reaching for the light. Materials on the inside of the frame are made to capture the shifting rays of light and create their own patterns and colors that add to the piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout the Artist:\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAdeena is an artist, floral designer, and art teacher in the Olympia area for over 25 years. She earned her BFA in painting in Michigan and a Masters in Teaching from The Evergreen State College.  For the past 3 years she also worked as a production and set designer for regional films, learning more about creating effects and play of light.
